The villa was in a good location and had plenty of supplies, however would not recommend for a summer stay due to heat and the fan not working. Downstairs bedroom was okay with air conditioning but upstairs was too hot. Communication from the host was unfriendly and unresponsive in the end when trying to resolve this issue.
The place itself is lovely and feels homey, and is in a good location. However for us it was let down by basic things like not dusting the bedside tables(!?) If simple cleaning tasks like this aren’t undertaken, I worry what else mightn’t be done. For ~$400 a night this really wasn’t good enough, especially considering the person who noticed the dusty table is asthmatic. Not a fan of requiring guests to wash and put away all dishes, either. Absolutely beautiful location and conveniently next to Lake Daylesford. Super relaxing, one of the best stays we’ve had
We couldn't rate our experience with the 'hosts' any lower. After checking out we became aware that we had left behind a family member's bag of vital medication for their ongoing cancer treatment and cancer record book. Given the amount of medication left behind and the need for this to be administered twice daily this was incredibly stressful for all guests. Wonderful weekend getaway - perfect location to explore on foot - walks to the lake and into town. Cosy, comfortable and very clean accommodation - highly recommend and will definitely return xx
