I should have written this years ago but here we are. Dr Haigney removed my wisdom teeth probably 15+ years ago. Then I ran into him again in the ER 4 years ago when he was the plastic surgeon on call. It was the worst day of my life but seeing a familiar, kind face was so reassuring. I can’t thank you enough Dr Haigney. You are truly the best.
My recent experience at Lake Norman Oral & Facial Surgery has been exceptional for these reasons: professionalism of Dr. Haigney and his staff, the clear explanation of the procedure and responses to my questions, the short time (less than 1 week) between my first phone call and the procedure, and the outstanding dental care I received. Dr. Haigney and his staff are truly exceptional. Like a lot of people I hated dealing with dentists largely due to earlier bad experiences, so by the time Dr. Haigney saw me I was in a bad way. He is patient, compassionate, technically outstanding, a strong communicator, laser focused on pain management and utterly committed to a successful outcome for his patients. The entire staff is delightful in all regards.
Would not recommend this establishment, had surgery earlier this year. While having the initial appointment everything was discussed about pricing and I mentioned that it would not be any more than what was discussed. The lady reassured me that we deal with your insurance company all the time and will not be any issues. 7 months later they are asking almost 25% more then what was discussed as the estimated saying the insurance didn't cover what they thought.
