Welcome to Lake Norman Dermatology serving the community of Lake Norman and the surrounding townships. We specialize in general and pediatric dermatology, skin cancer surveillance and surgery. We do offer limited botox. As of November 1, 2008 we are relocating to 20808 North Main Street, NC 28031 Cornelius We are excited about enlarging our offices in order to serve our patients better. We will continue to accept new patients. We do accept most insurance however, we do not accept Medicaid.

Informed and happy In response to Erin F. If you were actually a patient of Dr. Sugarman's you would realize that he only does Botox as cosmetics 1 day a week and only will do 3 patients that day because he is so busy treating patients with more serious conditions such as skin cancers!
Disappointing Tried to make an appointment with Dr. Sugarman as a new patient, and was told that there would be a 6 month waiting period. I have medical needs that clearly cannot wait 6 months. A bit disappointing to say the least. Apparently they are only looking for cosmetic patients, not patients with medical issues.
Lake Norman Dermatology is Fabulous! Dr. Sugarman and his staff are absolutely fabulous!! I went to his practice this past month and was very happy with my treatment and diagnosis. I had a rash that my Primary Care Physician had treated on several occasions and finally he referred me to Dr. Sugarman and he was able to pin point the diagnosis and prescribe me the correct medication. I will never go to another Dermatologist. My whole family will be seeing Dr. Sugarman.
Lost my foot For routine skin disorders they are okay, for anything else stay away, they can't handle unusual cases and you will suffer for it - I have. My most serious skin problem was causing deep lacerations, they just looked at it, said they didn't know what it was and gave me a cream to put on it. If they can't figure it out in your allotted 15 minutes then it doesn't exist.
Dr. Sugarman I found Dr. Sugarman and his PA Melissa Moser to be excellent! Both are very thorough and will take the time to sit with you and explain everything. I was diagnosed with skin cancer and I can't imagine a better practice to care for my needs
