No one at Reception on arrival, had to press bell twice and wait a good few minutes. Entry door nearest our room didn't work with our card. Check out time was 10 am, my wife and I were still in bed, when some strange woman opened our door at about 9 am, poked her head in the room, and just said, "oh, it shouldn't have done that", and closed the door and left, totally unacceptable.
First time stay for us 22/09/2026. Our room was very clean, spacious and well presented. Very comfortable bed, and the room was QUIET, despite location of the Motel being on the Highway. All round good value - RECOMMENDED
This hotel is not marketed as a luxury destination, and it would be unfair to judge it against premium five-star accommodation. What it does offer is clean, comfortable and affordable accommodation in a convenient location. The room was tidy, the bed was comfortable, and the overall experience was exactly what I was looking for. If you're seeking good value and a practical place to stay without paying premium prices, this hotel is well worth considering.
Not having stayed at Lake Munmorah Motel before I was hesitant to book, but was attending a family event at Wyee Point & motel was only 10 mins away so made a reservation for 2 x Premier Deluxe rooms for 2 nights, 1 for me & 1 for my sister & her husband. Check In/checkout were both easy, upon arrival called motels number & was instructed how to access the Entry Cards for rooms, & checkout just as easy by leaving Entry cards in the locked box in the Office.
