Established in 1957. founded in 1957 by the non-profit Libertyville Boat Club, Lake Minear Beach was once the site of a gravel quarry, and before that the Lake County Fairgrounds. Since then, generations of Libertyville residents have enjoyed fishing, picnicking, swimming and relaxing on our sandy beach.
