I love going on boat rides and spending time with my family here.
Rented a fun and play pontoon from the marina for the day. The pontoon was in very poor shape, ripped flooring, holes in seats, exposed sharp metal on sides of boat, carpet throughout bottom of pontoon was mildewed. Shocking that they rent these for over $400 a day and don't do any upkeep on them.
We needed a boat for 10 people so we rented a fun and play pontoon. The boats are in ROUGH condition. The first boat we were on didn’t have a seat back for the captain. The second boat had engine issues. We rented a tube which was a waste of money unless you just want to float in it. Those boats don’t have enough power to actually pull a tuber. Hello! We have been trying to secure boat slip/storage. We leave messages but they go unreturned. I would imagine they are full but service orientated businesses would answer or call back to notify the customer of availability, full or not. It is a shame because we looked forward to taking advantage of the wonderful things that the marina advertises. This level of service makes me question the operation as a whole. I hope this helps others who are on the fence of visiting this marina. Thank you.
Rented the Admiral Houseboat for a long weekend August 23, 2024. Upon arrival one of the bedrooms was unusable due to completely wet carpet and musty smell. Housekeeping had left a note saying they hoped the carpet would dry out soon. It didn’t. Two fans were running and the carpet was pulled up! In two days we ran out of fuel for the generator to run the refrigerator and A/C. (Staff had told us we could run the generator all weekend without concern).
