I cannot say enough about how amazing The Phoenix at Lake Joy has been for our family. Everyone from the top down has been just so comforting, competent, and attentive to all of us involved not just our loved one entering the facility. I truly feel that they genuinely care about my loved one not just physically but also mentally, emotionally, and socially. I cannot say enough positive things about the Phoenix at Lake Joy. The genuine love and care that was shown to my mother-in-law surpassed all of our expectations. The staff truly cares about their residents and go above and beyond in caring for them. They provide so many activities to keep their residents active and connected. I highly recommend the Phoenix at Lake Joy!

We moved mom into PLJ in November of last year. She fell in love with the staff, they became her second family along with her PT and OT. She made many friends and even won Ms. Congeniality in the PLJ Pageant. Mom passed away recently and as she was preparing for this final journey she was handled with love, gentleness and kindness from the staff. Thank you PLJ for making this very difficult time for our family easier.
I was looking for a place for my mom if she stayed in the are. We were given a tour by Michelle. The facilities are immaculate, and the staff we met were extremely friendly and genuine. The nurse, Andrea, met with my mom to evaluate the level of care she would require. Andrea was not only professional and knowledgeable, but she put my mom at ease very quickly with her kindness and caring personality.
