We stayed the weekend of June 13th. We arrived and found a note from the last renter indicating that the kitchen sink was leaking and backing up. We found this to be true. Also as the night progressed we found the most of the time the toilet did not flush spent the whole trip plungering the toilet and afraid to use it for fear it would over flow. Great location and beautiful cabin, well kept and clean. Basic amenities, perfectly perfect for a few days, a week or even more. Built in 1952, solid wood, stone fireplace, private grounds, kitchen, living, dining, bath and bedroom; a real pleasure to be there. It’s a quick jaunt across the road to a gorgeous lake, babbling brook/creek, national forest and trails.

Great price, decent property, good view of mountains as well as Pueblo during the morning sunrise. A good place if you and a few other people need a place to put your stuff, build your fire and rest your head. Very close to the lake as well, 2 min drive or 10 min walk.
