HORRIBLE Experience – Facility is beautiful, very nicely designed and decorated. BUT the food service is HORRIBLE! We had 150 guests, and in our menu package, we requested a carving station of brisket and turkey. The server had the smallest pieces of meat on the carving station, and served out SLIVERS of NOTHING! They were very stingy with their servings. And they served us HAM. HAM?!?!?!? Which we DID NOT request! HORRIBLE – Well the evening began with appetizers that could be made by anyone accompanied with stale chips, plastic plates, and a refusal to open the bar for another ten minutes. It was then followed with rude employees wearing what looked like pajama pants. They served the salad, which was clearly bagged salad, about 30 minutes before anyone sat down. Worst experience planning an event that I have ever had – The lakehouse is a beautiful reception center with excellent food. However, they are more than lacking on their customer service skills. To say I had an unpleasant experience is more than an understatement. They appeared flexible and eager to please, until I signed the contract.
