Three stars because the surgery was great, but the fees and post processing are AWFUL! Fees are at least double what most insurance companies will pay and they take months and months to process. Seriously, at one point I was given a date at which the insurance company was billed that was actually BEFORE the surgery even took place. Every time I talked to someone I got different information and different excuses.

My experience with Dr. Schmidt and the entire team at Lake Geneva Oral Surgery has been wonderful. I highly recommend them. Dr.Schmidt is highly knowledgeable, skilled and professional. Plus very kind and patient. His assisting team is amazing and make you feel so comfortable. They are very thoughtful to your needs. After each procedure, they follow up and they make sure all went well. Every part of using lake geneva oral surgery for my dental implant has been better than I could have hoped for. Thank you all SO MUCH!

For future reference you should probably tell people or atleast find out if their insurance is even accepted there before doing the referral from another dentist and racking up our dentists bills before hand and then telling us after we have left the office that our insunce is out of net work there!! Very very poor customer service and your only in it for people's money!!!!

I’ll start off by saying Dr. Schmidt was great. Very informative and knowledgeable. But that’s where the good ends and the headache begins. The entire clerical staff is nothing short of incompetent. It starts off with you playing phone tag with 2-3 different people that answer the phone and none of them seem to communicate with each other.
