To find a bank is to find a needle in a haystack Customer services sucks They make a mistake according to branch manager then when you try to cash a check they deny and take all day to let you know they will not accept check when they have prior. Closing account and don’t want nothing to do with that damn bank I rather pay ATM fees rather than to have them fake asses as my bank DONT USE THIS BANK

Worst company ever they do not care about you or your family. They do not care about vets that fight for there country. They have no desire to work with anyone who may fall on hard times and works really hard to take if their family.

Where do I start. I was very excited about purchasing my first home, who wouldn’t be? The young lady Latitia *******told me I was approved to get me a home. I am a single parent raising 4 children so you can understand how I felt thinking I will have a home for me and my children. I only chose one star because zero stars was not an option. This is my first loan every, through WHEDA (so not actually through wintrust) but the followup is HORRIBLE. I will leave messages for days in a row, emails etc.. and no response for days at a time. My closing is set for this Friday however, the Closing disclosure that I received last week had incorrect information on it that I have reiterated to them multiple times. IVe been dealing with Wintrust near Chicago for three years. Now for the past SEVEN months in a row they have been charging erroneous and likely illegal late feesMONTHLY on our mortgage! The most unpleasant mortgage experience in 30 years and six homes. Poor communication, follow-up and guidance.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS LAKE FOREST BANK AND TRUST! They do not even allow Quicken to download your account information for free like all other local banks do (namely Chase, Bank of America, 53rd Bank) You have to pay $10 a month to get Web Connect! PENNY PINCHING BANK. STAY AWAY. ATM CHARGE AS THEY DO NOT HAVE ATMS IN PLACES OTHER THAN LAKE FOREST1
They discriminate against minorities. They closed my account for no reason when it had a $10,000 balance in it. No reason given. Wonder if they can do that. Can a bank close a customer's account in good standing without giving a reason?And what reason would that be? I am going to file a complaint with the US Attorney General as they are not supposed to discriminate on the basis of color.
