I went to Put in Bay on July 7th just before my surgery My boyfriend surprised me with this trip. The ferry ride was smooth over .enjoy the Island and its attractions. The ride back was rough but fun had seagulls flew right along with us. It was amazing day I'll never forget. Will plan go back and tour the other Islands.

Lake Erie has always been our family's summer treasure chest. Every summer since 1965, we have stolen a week or two from our usual routines to go there to camp at East Harbor State Park, dream at Marblehead Lighthouse, play at Cedar Point Amusement Park, visit animals at African Safari Wildlife Park, swim at Monsoon Lagoon, and sit around the fire at night reminiscing about summer's past. A summer isn't right unless you've spent some time there!
We enjoyed our Port Clinton and Put In Bay vacation. We will be returning to learn more history of the other islands and have fun.
