It’s a decent area to hike, but the shooting range nearby really ruined the vibe. Drowns out the nature noise. Recommend hiking to the South West around Eagle Point Lake. I originally started on the Nordic side going north to try and avoid the gunshot noises but it turned into parking lots and paved trails
It’s a huge park with archery, fishing, camping, playgrounds, and much more. It’s well maintained and a great place to bring your family.
