Cute little neighborhood brewery that is clearly a labor of love. They only had a handful of beers on tap, but they were delicious. They also had cocktails which I did not expect. They have a nice outdoor space as well.
Awesome vibes! Had a great time watching the masters during our first visit today. They have an indoor, indoor-outdoor, and outdoor space!
2026 Chicago Brewery Journey – Second Stop. Stopped by Lake Effect Brewery as part of my Chicago brewery journey. They have a nice space with plenty of room, and you can tell they’re just getting started. The beer selection is pretty limited at the moment, and I was hoping to find a solid IPA—which is something currently missing from the lineup. That said, every brewery has to start somewhere, and there’s definitely potential here. I’d be interested in coming back down the road to see how things develop.
