I called to ask for documents regarding proof of me paying my property taxes. The man I spoke to, over the phone claimed his computer was not working and could not help me. He advised me to go to the website. Well, I went to the website, and it was not as user friendly as he said. When I called back for additional help, someone on the other line hung up on me. No help at all, and these individuals clearly don't like working with others. Maybe find another line of business.
I had to wait 55 minutes to speak with someone over the phone, and the lady was very rude. It’s a disgrace to the taxpayers who are forced to endure its dismal service.
I have been trying for hours to pay my tax bill that was a day late. My husband died on August 11. I have also tried to take his name off our tax bill. Dennis Rosen. There should be an easy way
Perhaps the worst office in Lake County government to deal with. Employees down right make up answers to pacify you in the moment (when you can actually get them on the phone). You can call, email or send smoke signals…. You will not be given an accurate answer. Those in charge blame it on staffing and have excuses for everything. How could the elected official think this is acceptable? It’s NOT. Hire people, change the organizational structure around but certainly do not lie to people and figure it out.
