I thought I'd leave a review here. I used to have great mental health doctors here. I was with LCMH for 28 years. I suffer from severe anxiety due to severe ulcerative colitis. Gut-brain axis. I was prescribed anxiety meds for that 28 years and was doing fine. All the sudden, I get a new nurse practitioner, Nimat Akorde, in March 2020. She started cutting my dose down too fast and I became horribly ill. At first, she gave reasons like, 'you could drink alcohol, or take opioids and die'. I don't use either. Blatant lie. Long wait time on every visit to location. Receptionists always give attitude about basic information. My doctor is consistently dismissive but I was treated so unprofessionally over the phone just now that I had to leave my first bad review ever. Stay away if you can.
Missed my appointment due to phone breaking and cant get in for 2/3 weeks. Front desk said im not a current patient so I cant get refills on any of my medication. They aren't very friendly here and I can never get a call back. The service is half way decent if you don't ever miss an appointment.
Needing your help is demanding, so I know they are there. My issue is my inability to reach out and get help. This is difficult at best but, this staff is willing and able to help. Reach out.
HORRIBLE! Extremely unprofessional. They canceled my father in-law twice the day off with no disregard to a 70 year old man’s mental health. They do NOT care. Not recommended! ( 0 rating )
