Stopped off here for a quick dinner on our way down South. Friendly service, great grub and cold beer. Dog friendly out on the deck too.
Solid food, great old school country tavern feel.
Are you serious .. dropped in for a Friday night and got blasted with karaoke .. food was ok .. but having to listen to poor and too loud music to have a meal .. never again !!!!
I phone and phone to book a party of 8, left messages on mobile that was on the web. No response or confirmation so we now have booked else where. Pity as we hoped to try the tavern out. Maybe next time
Lake Clifton Tavern has potential for country pub as a spot for a cold beer and live music, but the kitchen lets it down entirely. Limited menu, poorly executed dishes, and food that feels like an afterthought. Sadly, the best option is to skip the meals and stick to Drinks.
