The cabin was clean and cozy. The events, sleigh ride and dinner right after, were entertaining, on time, and wonderful. The Speak Easy dining experience was fantastic. It was fun, we learned a lot about the history of the lodge, and all of the food was delicious. As an added bonus, we were raided at the Speak Easy but were able to "get out of being taken away" - but that is a secret to learn by going there!
There is not enough words to share how truly amazing an experience this was. Between the sleigh ride and the restaurant our hearts were truly full with happiness. Thank you to the entire team for all they did!
My sister and cousin recently stayed for a winter weekend pkg. They loved the place, the atmosphere, and the people that make it all happen. 5 stars for sure. My sister stated it was extra special for her to see where her big brother spent so much of his early life gaining memories and stories. As a kid it's where we had fun and just what we did. As an adult it's more obvious to see that Hohmeyer's Lake Clear Lodge is a landmark, and a bucket list destination for all. I highly recommend it. Sgt P.L.Gladd (SLPD, ret)
My family and I, a party of 13, including 2 babies, did the lantern lit sleigh ride and speak easy experience followed by dinner last night and it was an AMAZING experience!!! The staff was friendly, professional and informative on our ride! The snow was falling and the trails were breathtaking! Inside the Inn was cozy and magical! The food was fresh and delicious!
