I spent over 6 hours in the er and the dr ordered labs, ct scan, limited ultrasound and authorized a pain medication at 1:15. I requested a lighter pain medicine and had received nothing by 2:30 so rang the nurse's station requesting they check on the pain medication. I was told still waiting on the dr to change the order so at 3:00 I rang the nurse's station again and said forget chaning the pain meds just give me what was ordered.
