I was sent here by the VA through community care. The VA will only cover transition lenses if the doctor signs off on it. I normally go to the eye doctor in the VA in Charleston, and they have already established that I need transition glasses. I didn’t realize that the doctor at this location didn’t put it down on the paper before I ordered my new glasses. I can’t get them to write me a new prescription. I’m either going to have to get my eyes rechecked by another doctor or come out of pocket for the transition lenses. The ... read more

Do not trust your eyes with this optometrist. I was given the wrong prescription and And was told because I waited too long to come back they were not correct the problem. I explained to the office manager I didn’t realize it sooner because I don’t drive at night. Also my daytime vision was off as well so, I took the glasses back to be checked and the frame was broken so she switched out the frame and told me that’s probably why I couldn’t see during the day.
