Fast, easy and compassionate care on a weekend at the absolute last minute. Dr. Schaeffer was able to diagnose and treat our kitten when we weren't sure she would make it through the night. Incredible care!
My dogs have been under the care of Lake City Animal Hospital and Dr. Shaeffer for a few years now. They practice a high quality of medicine and every staff member I have interacted with has always been skilled and compassionate. I drive 40 miles one way because I trust and like them so much!:
Had an issue with diarrhea with one of my dogs and they told me over the phone that they test for giardia for the fecal So I spent the $50 to have the test done and then when we went in for the exam the nurse said that they don't test for that and I have to pay $98 to have it sent out. They lied and The doctor could give me no reason why my dog is losing weight and having diarrhea. They just wanted me to do b12 shots and change her food to medicated food.
