From the moment we turned into Lake Chatuge Lodge, I was completely enchanted. The view of the lake stretched out alongside the mountains in a way that quite literally took my breath away. The staff is wonderful! The lobby and deck are wonderful gathering spots with a huge fireplace. Breakfast is a typical hotel breakfast. The furnishings are simple and dated but it adds charm to the property. The property is clean, rooms are clean, but the carpet in the rooms is dirty and needs to be replaced.

We really enjoyed our stay. The lobby is so warm and welcoming…I usually don’t hang out there but it’s so homey…I loved it! The lake is beautiful from there as well! The bed wasn’t the most comfy I’ve ever had but definitely worth it for the location and price!

What an awesome find. An old school lodge with a fantastic view of the lake, every room has its own balcony. The place is clean and comfortable at a great price. The only knock on the place is that the breakfast is a little weak with only carbs, no hots so plan on going into town if you want a protein breakfast.
