I didn’t rent from this guy. We didn’t make it that far. I called to inquire about renting. He was very pushy and demanding I make a decision soon as he had “60 calls to return”. I told him we possibly had 10 adults and he kept saying the boat can’t hold over 2000 lbs and he would be able to look at us and tell how much we weigh. He also went on and on about making sure someone on the boat knows about outboard motors and that person would have to pass his test. To call the place and ask for advice in getting a boat in the next few weeks, he told me that I woke him me up and I cannot help us. He wouldn't give me his name, though I had given mine twice, and said I didn't catch his, and third when I asked if I called back, who would I speak to. He said it didn't matter his name, he gets 200+ phone calls a day and wouldn't remember me anyhow.

We spent the weekend at Twin Dikes, there on Sam Rayburn Lake. My brother wanted to fish and was willing to pay for the rental, so I found this place and gave him the number. I'm glad I did. From what I gathered, the communication about delivery time and pick up time was excellent, the boat was really clean and ran like a champ, and the guy spent time discussing how to navigate the waters. We rented a boat from Rick to fish on Lake Sam Rayburn. The price was not bad for a whole day rental. We paid him for training since we had never used a pontoon boat before. I would definitely rent another boat if I'm in the are again. Highly recommend!
