This is a one mechanic bicycle shop that specializes in bicycle repairs and tune-ups. The mechanic is very honest and will only fix or suggest new parts that are necessary for the functioning of the bike. He won't try to upgrade you to more expensive parts. The shop is hard to find because it is in the basement of the building behind the barber shop. Follow directions to take the elevator to the basement, walk past the barber shop and turn left. The bike shop will be on the left.
Was out on Des Plaines trail and we got a flat. Other places said they couldn’t help me that day… I called lake bluff and within the hour I was back on the trail. Quicker and cheaper than I expected. Will be taking our bikes there from now on

Excellent service, professional expertise. Quick (done day sooner that expected), very reasonable cost. I highly recommend Nate, great bike mechanic (and overall cool guy). I'm back in the saddle again on my 42 year old racer!
Stopped in because my tires were riding low. They graciously let me use the pump. I bought some handlebar tape and Nate quickly put it on for me. Highly recommend.
