A hidden gem only an hour from us, absolutely beautiful location. Lake Augusta is small and quiet, beautiful for swimming and fishing, kayaking, canoeing, etc. Annandale is a short five min drive and is a cool and artsy downtown with plenty of shops and bars. The cabins are small and quaint, clean and comfy. A fantastic place to have a few families together with their own spaces yet only steps away from each other. Our short stay in Vintage Cabin 5, Lake Augusta Cabins, was charming and delightful. We loved the vintage refrigerator and the beautiful lake views. The cabin had a fun, rustic ambiance. We hope to return and try some of the other cabins here.

I stayed twice this summer - once in #5, and once in #8. We had a fabulous experience. Fishing was great, many docks to choose from, floating on the water with friends, kayaks, game room in the old boathouse, a spring running through between #6 and #7 that is beautiful and sounds amazing, and the grounds are so well maintained with an abundance of flowers, bushes and hostas. First visit and we'll definitely keep in mind for next summer! Had a couple minor issues, but owner was easy to reach and quick to respond. Love that cabins were dog friendly!
