I am extremely impressed with my new LakeAir Maxum HEPA model that I purchased from Randy and the team at Lakeair. Great products and great custom service! I bought the max guard for a large room that sees cooking and cigar/pipe smoking..This thing has adjustable speeds and purifies the smoke in a hurry. When it's done, the room smells nice and clean with no smoke detected. I wash the thermostatic cell in the dishwasher for re-use and replace the carbon filter every 3 months -- The product is very well constructed and exactly what I was looking for!
I am a huge fan of this product! We installed two LAAS-1600 units with HEPA filters for whole-home filtration in our apartment in New York City. I've been measuring indoor air particulates for many years, and ever since we starting running the Lake Air units, our indoor particulates rarely rize above 1 µg/m³, more often it's 0! Thank you for making this great product!
