Just brought my car in to Laird, haven’t been here for years since I moved out of the area. Same amazing service from Jay, Bernie and the young guys. I needed a part and rather than make me wait, Bernie drove over to get it for me himself. Great work, fair prices and most importantly they are honest and trustworthy. I will come out of my way to bring my car back here in the future.
One word - AMAZING!! Have been going for years!!! They are incredibly knowledgeable and miraculously honest - a combination hard to find in a good mechanic!
The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Left the car on D instead of properly putting it on P. Whatever, not the end of the world. I started driving away and a large plastic cover piece flew from the dashboard onto the passenger side seat. Went back inside the shop holding the plastic piece in my hand. Laird Automotive is hands-down one of the best mechanic shops I've ever been to! I have been going to them for years, and the service is always exceptional. The entire team, especially Sheen, is incredibly forward and transparent when describing vehicle issues. There is no confusion, just clear explanations. I agree with reviewer Chris about the overpriced parts. Laird Auto charges double—or even triple—the cost of the cheapest model they got from an auto part shop. I'm giving them 3 stars because they offer same-day service, fixed the car issue and are willing to install parts you provide yourself (though I'm not sure if they'll increase labor charges or add any extra fees for doing this).
