The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Left the car on D instead of properly putting it on P. Whatever, not the end of the world. I started driving away and a large plastic cover piece flew from the dashboard onto the passenger side seat. Went back inside the shop holding the plastic piece in my hand. Laird Automotive is hands-down one of the best mechanic shops I've ever been to! I have been going to them for years, and the service is always exceptional. The entire team, especially Sheen, is incredibly forward and transparent when describing vehicle issues. There is no confusion, just clear explanations. I purchased a car from Sheen N for $7,500, not knowing that the transmission had been rebuilt. Less than a year later, the car broke down completely, and the transmission broke. I feel misled by the lack of transparency about the car’s history. Very disappointed, this experience was both dishonest and untrustworthy. Would not recommend.
I agree with reviewer Chris about the overpriced parts. Laird Auto charges double—or even triple—the cost of the cheapest model they got from an auto part shop. I'm giving them 3 stars because they offer same-day service, fixed the car issue and are willing to install parts you provide yourself (though I'm not sure if they'll increase labor charges or add any extra fees for doing this).
I’ve been coming to Laird Automotive for years, and have always had extremely professional and helpful service from Sheen. I’d recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy and helpful mechanic to come here and ask for him.
