Beautiful area to take a hike and enjoy nature!
Beautiful park with miles of hiking trails of varying difficulty. We chose the creekside trail, hiking for a couple miles to the cool castle that you can see from the trail. The hike goes along a beautiful creek, very peaceful while getting out and enjoying the mountain air for some exercise.
One of my favorite places on the west side of greater Denver for hiking. Mild elevation gain if desired or pretty flat, depending on which trail you take. Many spots by the creek. Very close to get to from the city. The trail connects with other parks. My favorite times I generally early morning and evening for special light.
