After a severe incident at Bunnings that put me into ER twice.i was gobsmacked by the examination and revision I received by this specialist.
To be honest, he saved my life. John’s testing prior to surgery picked up on an early lung cancer. My thoracic surgeon, Suggested that nobody else does the thorough testing prior to surgery that John does. It is because of this thorough work ethic that I am able to leave this review. I found his bedside manner (and sense of humor) to be beyond reproach.
I was referred to A/P John Laidlaw when I was diagnosed with a meningioma (brain). I had 2 consultations with him - one via video and one in person before surgery. He went into a lot of detail and spent a lot of time with me at both consultations regarding my issue from going through the MRI with me to risks and to what to expect post surgery. In 2008 I had a stroke due to an AVM bleed. Dr Laidlaw saved my life, literally. He performed a craniotomy to remove the AVM. If you are researching for someone who has hands of gold, it is Dr Laidlaw. His bedside manner is also incredibly kind and I always found him to be honest. Prior to departing the hospital, I said to him that I didn’t know how I could ever repay him.
