Extremely conservative in devising her treatment plan. Typical flowchart based practice, nothing out of the box at offer with Dr. Xu. She waited for the disease to get worse, no out of the box intervention was offered proactively when the conventional treatment was clearly not working. Her focus remained on managing the side effects of chemotherapy despite our repeated requests to be more aggressive since preventing side effects wasn't the top priority with a terminal diagnosis. Dr. Xu not only has a wealth of cancer treatment experience, but she also cares about her patients. During my dad's visit, she listened patiently and provided a detailed plan. She helped my dad build confidence.
Dr. XU has a great knowledge of cancer. She has a PhD in cancer from HARVARD! She really cares and does her best for each patient. No better ONCOLOGIST!
Dr. Xu is very thorough and reassuring. I'm glad I'm under her care.
