My first visit to Spindel Eye was a very impressive. For the time in my life I was treated in a dignified manner. I'm not exaggerating. The staffs professionalism was impeccable. I left there with a smile on my face. I can"t wait to back and have my eyeball scraped off. Too bad I couldn"t be treated like that for the short time I have left. Thank you all for your magnanimity. The service at the desk and on the phone is hoorendous You get much better service at Home Depot than you do here. The doctors make you wait 2 hours nx then spend 2.5-3 minutes in total with you and bill insurance your insurance or medicare for many hundreds of dollars which in my opinion is fraud. Stay away from this place even if it means trabelling som to find an out of area specialist.
Spindel's billing process is absolutely horrific. In the 40 years I have been seeing medical practitioners and working in an executive capacity in business I have NEVER seen anything like this. Spindel requires you to pay 'upfront' for Cataract Surgery and then it is almost impossible to recover your out-of-network reimbursement. They try to keep your reimbursement, do not return phone calls and the Doctor rushes you in and out in 5 minutes and then charges you over $100 per visit.
