Polite and courteous; listens; answers questions;
I've already recommended Dr. LaGrone several times. I leave every appointment in amazement. Other doctors are desperately trying to get away as soon as possible because they see a different patient every 15 minutes. Dr. LaGrone is NOT like that. He has never spent less than an HOUR with me. He explains the pros and cons of prescribed medicines, what they do, and how they work. He not only listens, he answers questions. I'm so glad a friend recommended Dr. LaGrone.
He's very thorough and takes his time with me each visit without rushing through it.
Surprised at the high reviews. He is fairly nice at first. Until I mentioned my doctor and another specialist wanted me to apply for disability which was the last thing I wanted to do but I was unable to work. Despite having many health issues he pretty much told me he didn't like his patients on disability. It wasn't as much the fact he didnt want to help because I had others that said I did not need to work and was willing to belp. I was a new patient today in Dr. Lagrone's office. He took time to thoroughly discuss my issues and treatment options. He was professional, caring, compassionate, knowledgeable and I would HIGHLY recommend him.
I have been seeing Dr. Lagrone for 13 years. He is an amazingly caring, thoughtful, empathetic doctor. He takes the time to sit and really listen to what you have to say. I never feel rushed when I see him. And he is the reason that I am still able to work after being diagnosed with severe RA years ago-he has been willing to switch medications around until we found exactly the right combination that works.
He is an awesome doctor. Always listens to my questions and problems, never treats me like I'm being lazy or crazy :)
