Bad experience. Not recommended. Replaced the wrong part and didn't tell me. I found out and I'm not sure whether they were aware. I asked them to repair the damaged part. They didn't know whether It will require painting or not (seems they've never previously ordered it). They got back with me a couple of days later that It does not require painting, but that It will require recalibration and additional payment of over $500 (They were not aware of this before). As they say, three strikes and you're out. I've given this dealership several chances to retain my business. I have two Kia's that I have had serviced regularly at Kia of Ypsi. I have a 2017 Kia Soul, and a 2025 Sportage. Both are great cars, and have given us little to no trouble at all. We really like our cars. Strike one: We had our 2017 Soul serviced in May of last year. Oil changed and tires rotated. This was on a Saturday, and when we got home we had a large puddle of oil under the car. Clean and friendly environment although I wasn't there for repairs.
This is easily the most absurd and poorly handled customer service experience I've ever had. My first and only bad Google review! I took my Kia Stinger in for a scheduled appointment for routine and preventative maintenance and was quoted "about $2500". This included a full brake job, , new battery, replacement key fob and a fuel system treatment. Okay, fine! Good so far.
