This has been one of the most frustrating and unacceptable experiences I’ve had with a dealership. My issue started at LaFontaine Nissan Lansing, where I was sold a vehicle with a broken tire sensor. I purchased a certified pre-owned car with LaFontaine and with in 30 days I ran into some issues with it. There was a loud screeching sound that came up and the check engine light came turned on. I took it to a car parts shop to see the code that came up and it was a very small evaporation leak. I went back and forth with the service department and me bringing it in but they said they have a list of people on a list for a loner car because I needed one so I can get from and to class and work. If I could give NEGATIVE star I would. I found a used car last week and gave a down payment to pick it up the following week due to my work schedule and not living close to the dealership. Notified the dealer today I am coming in this afternoon to pick up the car and found out - they sold the car to someone else!! They cashed my check earlier in the week too, made an agreement for pickup date and sold the car several days ago without my knowledge. My experience with Lafontaine has been horrible. The service department is a joke. I posted a review about my experience . I get a generic response probably from Ai as if they really care. But if you read it at the end of my review you might think they do.It was fake because if they were serious they'd have called or responded back when I responded to they're first email. Took my 2020 jeep renegade in for new tires coolant flush and replace brake fluid flush and replace as well as an alignment for the new tires They did an excellent job on my truck and the person who took care of me did an excellent job of getting things done as well as washing ny truck before I took it.
