I went in for an oil change and a look at the used 2004 Dodge Dakota truck I purchased from a private seller. There was a check engine light on. When I returned for the truck, the oil was changed (about $60). My bill was about $370. They told me the brakes were badly rusted, that it needed a major tune-up and I had a rear taillight that didn't work correctly. The repair estimate was 3 times what I paid for the truck.
