Here we go again. This is the 3rd power outage this week affecting 38 customers (Long Hollow & Camp Ridge Rd). It's a beautiful day, no stormy weather and 83 degrees. And not a word for LUB explaining the reason for this? What is the problem?!? And not to mention that the tap water is cloudy and disgusting. The service here is horrendous. I can't get out of this Godforsaken town fast enough.

We had an outage this evening and the crews were on site within 40 minutes (about how long it takes to get here from town) and when I called to check on timing, the gentleman I spoke with was extremely professional and kind, and even called when power was reinstated to ensure all was good. I work with a lot of utilities in my profession and was very impressed by the professionalism here.

The only entity that can legally rob you. They have the monopoly on utilities so we have no choice and they do what they want

I have never lived in an area with such a bad power grid. It can be sunny and not windy and power goes out. This happens a few times or more a month. I have lost power more times in a few months here than I have my entire life elsewhere. I've been under this utility for a few years and it's just horribly maintained. They need to do something about it. They need to maintain it. Then forbid you forget to pay until the day after due date they threaten to turn your power off.
