Dr. Lafferty overmedicated me. I had a laundry list of side effects after being given the highest dose of a medication possible after only starting it 2 weeks prior. I had also not been properly tapered off my previous medication and immediately started this new offending drug. This has left me with multiple neuromuscular and neurological problems I still have not fully recovered 2 months later.

Three other patients were also scheduled for our appointment time, but that's not unusual for psychiatrists who take insurance. What was unusual was the level of aggression, scorn, and unprofessional behavior we experienced. She was not interested in my partner's long-time psychologist's diagnosis for him; she refused our request to sign a release so they could consult.
