Dr. Harris is an incredible doctor with immense knowledge in medicine and the human body. He truly loves being a doctor and helping people. You can tell he's worked hard to learn what he knows and use that knowledge appropriately to help the suffering. He takes his time with patients to understand them and approach their suffering with the proper care to see them get better. Truly better. Hawaii is lucky to have Dr. Harris.
Hopefully this will balance out some of these other reviews. I have been a patient of Dr. Harris for 4 years now and have received the best care ever from him. Maybe these other reviews don't like to hear the straight up truth but that is exactly what he gives you. He has helped me with knee issues and shoulder issues. He is a wonderful person and a great Doctor!
I had an appointment with Dr Harris with the expectation that I would be getting a cartlege injections in my knees about 13 or so days ago. I was also told I needed a partial knee replacements on both knees. Anyway I got my injections & I was so happy my knees like looked normal again. I was so appreciative. So about a year ago I scheduled carpal tunnel surgery with Lafe. I set everything up at work so I could take the necessary time off for the surgery. Literally the night before the surgery his office called and told me they needed to cancel my surgery and didn’t know when I could reschedule and wouldn’t tell me what happened. I had made an appointment with Dr Harris for diagnosis of an ongoing knee problem in August. At the time I had some inflammation in the knee and was having difficulty going up and down stairs (I have a 2 story house so this is a daily activity for me) and other routine tasks such as kneeling, getting up from sitting position, etc. I also stated that I consider myself to be physically active on a regular basis and the knee was really limiting what I can do.
