I just wanted to express my gratitude to the staff at Lafayette in Marblehead where my father is residing. The experience with this facility has been positive since his initial admission to the rehab. Specifically, I appreciated the calls I received from numerous different staff upon his admission who sought to learn more about him and his needs in order to provide him with the best care. My mom is in full time care at this nursing home. The staff at this nursing home is incredibly skilled, attentive and caring. While the facility is outdated and needs renovation, the older decor actually provided comfort to my elder mom who has Alzheimer's disease. If you are in the process of moving a loved one into a care facility, remember that it is more important that there are good caregivers than beautiful carpets.
