The originally enticing quote ($25 labor + reasonable cost for refrigerant) inflated, bit by bit, to ~$170 labor + new hose (first $70, then $100), new accumulator (since new hose didn't fit the old accumulator; $40), and refrigerant, totaling ~$350.
