My boyfriend (huge meat eater) and I (vegan) LOVE coming here. The staff are always so friendly and kind with the food hot, fresh, and tasty, We love the seasonal offerings, especially for vegetarians! Miles better quality of food, portion sizes, and service at this small business rather than a corporate chain.
I've gotten takeout from Lafa twice this year when I've been in the area to visit my mom. My first order-ahead visit was great - it took a little bit but the order was correct and delicious, and the salad was huge! This evening I ordered ahead again and waited almost 25 minutes for my salad and saj. When I got home, I realized they didn't add the Lafa vinaigrette (kind of important on a salad...) or crispy chickpeas I ordered. The server changed gloves and got out fresh ingredients when I informed him I have Celiac disease. He was friendly and polite, taking care to ensure I felt the food was safe for me to eat. I had a delicious greens & grains bowl!
