I did something I NEVER do when looking for the golden unicorn (in this case, that's a FAIR mechanic, who's HONEST and STRAIGHTFORWARD - no games, no 🐂💩, just HONEST FAIR & FAST!) and in this case that was selecting the very first paid ad that came up on Google. I NEVER do that - and most ads listed there usually are from out of the area I'm searching in with a toll-free number. I had my car repaired by an unnamed shop in Oceanside. While driving on a family trip a week later, the same problem reappeared. When I was able to return home, I took my car to Lael's International Auto Services in Oceanside (a AAA-certified shop) for a diagnosis. I took my Acura to Lael's due to an oil leak, and there were many things that needed to be done. I wanted the engine light off and anything that had to be done taken care of. We came up with a list of things that needed to be done and Lael added some bushings and a few extras that most shops would have just put back on. The list had a major service - 90k and since it has driven awesome, only needed to do oil changes and breaks since and I'm at 130k now! Thanks for keeping my car happily on the road.
Lael does not tend to his customers need very fast. It took me all day to get out of there.
