After reading the reviews I felt I needed to leave my own. A lot of the complaints were regarding ow long it took to get an appointment. In the Austin area, there are THREE geneticists. THREE. It would be wonderful if they were able to see every patient within a month or two but there is literally no way that’s possible with such limited resources. Also, most of the patients being seen here potentially have life threatening disorders so just moving an appointment to fit in another child isn’t really a viable option either. D... read more

My daughter was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder after testing was done by her neurologist. It was suggested we schedule an appointment with a geneticist. I called in March and took the first available appointment which was for the week after Christmas, 9 months later. I took it. After a very long wait our appointment was finally drawing near.
