Ladislav Czernek created custom cabinetry for me on 3 separate home remodeling projects and I would highly recommend him to others. Ladislav is not only extremely talented as an artist and woodworker, but he is a pleasure to work with. He is a resourceful problem solver and often came up with new ideas that exceeded my expectations. His work ethic is impeccable and his execution superb. I can’t speak highly enough about my experience working with Ladislav.
Ladislav has done several projects for me over the years, starting in the mid-90s. At that time he painstakingly recreated missing sections of solid cherry wainscoting in a Victorian-era house I owned in Brooklyn. The workmanship was impeccable, and it was impossible to tell the new sections from the original. Fantastic artist and craftsman, great collaborative process even for a very small client. Walked in with only the vaguest: a table, the size needed, some contradictory concept of a clean modern form, but with rustic / utilitarian character, organic surfaces. Ladislav crafted the entire shelving for our wine store, Monopole Wine in Pasadena. It is superbly done, very elegant and solid, and we get complements regularly on the look and originality of the shelves . He is a perfectionist and first rate craftsman and tends to bring ideas to life. Highly recommended for jobs that require high standards and beautiful esthetics
