Tonja is very knowledgeable and encouraging. If I would have had her help with my other 3 babies we probably would have breastfed longer! Gave me details on not only nursing but how it affects his body and mine and what I need to be eating and why. I never got that from any other lactation consultant! Very eye opening when I didn’t know my baby actually had symptoms of the tongue and lip tie. If I didn’t have her, I would have probably thought it was my fault for all his issues and gave up! Highly recommend Tonja Carpenter if your baby has any feeding problems. She is very knowledgeable & knows what she’s doing! My 1 month old was having latch problems breastfeeding so we stopped. Although I started bottle feeding, the problems didn’t disappear. That’s when I reached out to Tonja. She first came to our home for the first assessment & referred us to Dr Green for oral tie revisions.
