I am so thankful to Jenny at the Lactation Room. I went to her originally with my first baby and unfortunately due to latching and major supply issues, I struggled to breastfeed/pump for my son. I had a gut feeling my 4.5-month-old son had a tongue tie, so I scheduled a consult with Jenny, and sure enough, he had a lip and tongue tie. She was so kind, even while I was a hot mess. My son was crying, squirming, and even spitting up all over her floor during my first appointment. Our daughter would gag and push out any bottle we would try to give her one. We tried about 6 bottles before making an appointment. Misty helped us and now our daughter will take a bottle and I can go back to work with one less thing to worry about. I had three appointments and she taught my husband, mom, and dad how to position baby, hold the bottle, and support baby’s cheeks. She was very responsive and checked in throughout the month. I am so grateful to have Misty as my lactation consultant. She helped me with bottle feeding, pumping, and breastfeeding. Even if your issues aren’t seemingly major, I highly recommend coming in. I have learned so much and my baby has come such a long way. Misty is an amazing person!
