I had cataract surgery with him about a year and a half ago. I told him that I wanted to remain nearsighted. The last minute in the OR he tells me he can fix my eye for intermediate vision. Well now that he fixed it for intermediate vision I cannot thread a needle which I could do before the cataract surgery. There are some things on my phone that I cannot see if I can't enlarge it. People always told me that the doctors can fix it the way you want either nearsighted or farsighted but Dr lacour didn't do what I wanted.
I was in a horrible car accident. My vehicle was totalled. Besides other injuries, I began experiencing changes in my vision. I was sent here by my attorney to check my eyesight. Everything was negotiated with this doctor as far as payment, through my attorney, who is highly reputable and well respected. He is outstanding and meticulous in his care.
A professional focused on the welfare of his patients first. Whenever possible, he always provides explanations for alternative treatment options and seeks the patients' input. Dr. LaCour has treated me for over ten years, during which time he performed cataract surgery on both eyes.
