would recommend john was great he did our backyard pergola, pond and waterfall, patio, and all our landscaping. he really knew what he was doing, and it shows in the finished product. will recomend to friends and neighbors without hesitation
Shoddy work and dishonest! What a dishonest man...John Anker came to do a job and did the shoddiest job. He covered up a lot of it when leaving so we did not notice until it was too late. He has not returned any of our calls. He did not complete the brick step he made for us and the bricks he did lay down have already come out. We now have to pay someone else to fix his mess. We posted some pictures to show what we are talking about. Just click on them and see for yourself. Don't use him.
old school A rare treat in this era to find a throw back contractor who does things for the love of the work. Johns enthusiasm and creativity for the job set him apart from all the other guys we spoke with. most of them didnt even have a clue about what we wanted, I cant even imagine how some of these guys stay in business.. anyhow, john gave us great suggestions for how he thought the yard would work best for us, and what wouldn't. he made it seem that it was more important that the job looked exactly perfect, rather than d... read more
what I expected good experience from start to finish, work was completed on time and the quality was terrific, will be looking for more work to be done at a later date
