I have snakes and because petco no longer sells live rats and their price of on small mouse is now 5.00, im forced to buy from this store. Petco used to sell large rats for 9.99. Their mediums were 7.99. Laconia pet sells their mediums for 9.99 and their small rats for 7.99. Ive spoken to the owner and get the same lame excuse, oh its the breeder. Thia place is a rip off. Thinking of getting rid of my snakes just so i dont have to buy from this place
Such a great group of people, they genuinely care for you and your pets! They really know their stuff and are a great resource of knowledge and advice. Big chain stores have nothing on Laconia Pet Center!!
Went in this weekend to pick up a starter kit and a few fish for my kids. Derek was exceptionally knowledgeable, patient, and took time to make sure we got exactly what we needed and knew how to take care of our new platys.
I love this store they r the best pest stire around and they help alot big time
Can't thank Bethany enough for all of her help. I have a very difficult Golden Retriever to feed. She spent the time to go over foods and how to keep Ozlo interested. She recommended 2 brands and he loves both with no added people food or wet dog food. Thanks for taking the time. I am so happy to support a local business!
Very educated employees. If I ask a question they don't know the answer to they will find the person who does or research it themselves. They never try to sell me stuff I don't need and often talk me out of things I don't. Very patient and take time with customers to educate them. I told them I put cactus wood in my fish tank and when I went in to the store they told me they had done research on this and that it would not cause problems unless it was dirty. We love coming here to get all the things we need to keep our pets happy. The staff and owners are super knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I have never been to a local pet store that has treated their customers so well!
