I am very unhappy with the care I received during my visit to Labor & Delivery at 32 weeks pregnant. I came in with symptoms concerning for preeclampsia, which is a serious condition. The physician on call that evening, Dr. Dunlap Wright, did not come into the room to see me at all. I was only evaluated by the RN, and no urine sample was ordered to check for protein, which is a standard and important part of assessing preeclampsia. Iam compelled to leave Dr Dunlap-Wright a 5 star review because she is truly magnificent and helped me when I kept getting sick- she said she was worried about me and that I needed to start exercising to stimulate my immune system, although Iam a nurse I really didnt have that knowledge. So I took her advise seriously and its been a tremendous help to improving my health
I scheduled a new patient appointment. After I checked in a young lady told me doctor is running 15 to 20 minutes behind schedule. I said okay I'll wait. 15 to 20 minutes turned into about 2 hours plus. I then canceled the appointment. When I cancelled the appointment, I was notified that she was not even in the office; she was in labor and delivery. The front office staff made it seem like she was in the office but running late. I was looking for a new OBGYN and let me just say I found my new one and couldn’t be happier. She is down to earth, hilarious, and personable all while being professional. She is so funny and I had a great time seeing her and her nurses. Her and the whole staff were so welcoming and so sweet. I’ve been dealing with issues for years and on the first visit, finally have some answers. I will continue seeing her and def recommend her.
